Make something
real.

A builder-led society at the University of Birmingham, bringing students and the wider city together to build, test and ship ideas.

Birmingham has world class talent. What it needs is a room where that talent can collide.

Not another lecture. Not networking for its own sake. A place to meet people who think differently, get out of your comfort zone and make something you can point to.

Prototype & Pitch · Birmingham

“I built my first thing at Builders Club.”

That is the outcome we care about.

Different rooms. Same intent.

01

3 hours · Wednesday

The Quick Build

A low-commitment evening for trying an idea, finding collaborators and leaving with something that works.

02

6–8 hours · Saturday

The Full Sprint

A deeper day of building, testing and shipping, with mentors, food and a room that stays alive.

03

Curated · Occasional

The Studio Session

A smaller, higher-intensity format for ambitious briefs, unusual teams and serious follow-through.

Wide tent.
High bar.

  1. 01

    Building is the point.

Talks, mentoring and socialising serve the making. They never replace it.

  2. 02

    Energy matters.

A polished event with a flat room is a failure. We host for momentum, curiosity and generous chaos.

  3. 03

    Anyone can enter.

Any degree, any level, any university. Beginners arrive by seeing what is possible, not by lowering the ceiling.

  4. 04

    Experience before headcount.

Fifty people who leave buzzing matter more than a hundred and fifty who leave indifferent.
